Maiden Trip – The test!

After a thorough clean out and updates of the following;

New Sunraysia Rims (had to be black) – original ones were rusted out
New Cooper Discoverer Tyres
New rear sponge covers & curtains (which the girls sewed up)
Home service inc filters, oil change and general check over by me… (scary I know!)

We set off for a quick lap of the NSW south coast down to Vic and back up through the snow fields…Did I mention it was June (middle of winter?) A quick 2000 km run over a week of school holidays would sort out any bugs and get The Bear roaring again!

Overall, it went well with only a few hiccups along the way..We quickly worked out that the kitchenette (which was a waste of space) had to go and make room for a larger bed below, and we had to work out a better system for the kitchen..

Above all we quickly worked out how much we enjoyed the experience – camping out, cooking where we wanted, the cost saving in hotels etc and the boundless places we could travel too…
